This policy explains what information Combat Coach ("we", "us") collects, how we use it, and your rights over it. We aim to keep this plain and honest.

Who we are

Combat Coach is a strength and conditioning application for combat-sports athletes, operated from the United Kingdom. For any privacy question, contact us at support@combatcoach.co.

What we collect

Depending on how you use Combat Coach, we may collect:

Contact information you give us, such as your email address when you join the waitlist.
Account and profile information you provide in the app, such as your name, date of birth, training experience, goals, and training schedule.
Health and training information you choose to enter, such as bodyweight, reported injuries, and logged training, which the app uses to personalise your coaching.
Usage information generated as you use the app, such as sessions created and features used, to help us improve the product.
Subscription status. We record whether you have an active subscription so the app knows what you have access to. Payment itself is handled entirely by Apple — we never see or store your card details.

How we use it

To provide and personalise your coaching and training sessions.
To contact you about early access, updates, and the product (you can opt out at any time).
To improve and secure the service.
To meet our legal obligations.

Sensitive information

Some information you enter (such as reported injuries or health details) may be considered sensitive. We only use it to provide your coaching, we do not sell it, and we take care to protect it. You choose what to enter, and you can remove it.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run Combat Coach (for example, email delivery, hosting, and the AI provider that generates your coaching), and only as needed to provide the service. We may disclose information where required by law.

Where it is stored

Your information is stored using reputable third-party infrastructure providers and may be processed outside your country. We take reasonable steps to ensure it is protected wherever it is handled.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under UK and EU data protection law), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email support@combatcoach.co and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Marketing emails

If you join our waitlist or opt in to updates, we may email you about Combat Coach. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, and only as long as necessary after that for legitimate or legal reasons. You can ask us to delete your data.

Children

Combat Coach is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Users aged 16 and 17 are subject to additional safety limits within the app.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product develops. We will update the date above when we do, and significant changes will be communicated where appropriate.
